COVID-19 SAFETY

The health and safety of all COSYNE conference attendees remain our top priority. COSYNE 2024. It is no longer necessary to present proof of a negative COVID-19 test when entering Portugal, nor is it necessary to present a COVID-EU digital certificate, vaccination certificate, or recovery certificate issued by a third country that is accepted or recognized in Portugal. This page will be updated if protocols change.

HEALTH & SAFETY AT COSYNE 2024

In addition to adhering to the safety protocols established by the local authorities, COSYNE will take additional precautions to ensure the comfort and safety of our attendees. Precautionary basics include:

  • Masks and COVID-19 self-tests will be available upon request at the COSYNE registration/information desk.

  • Hand sanitization stations will be placed throughout the venues.

  • To-go containers available at buffets.

Attendees and Exhibitors at COSYNE 2024 are asked to respect and observe the following guidelines:

  1. Vaccinate if you can.

  2. Don’t travel if you are sick.

  3. Wear a mask indoors.

  4. Regularly wash and sanitize your hands.

  5. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

  6. Test when you arrive and at least once after.

  • We will not require COVID-19 vaccine validation for COSYNE 2024.

  • We strongly advise participants to wear a high-quality mask indoors. Please be courteous and respectful of each other's decisions and comfort levels. Masks will be available upon request at the COSYNE registration/information desk.

  • The Travelcheck-in platform enables online scheduling of COVID-19 tests in clinics and laboratories throughout the country (mainland and islands).

If you are infected during your visit to Portugal you should isolate for 5 days, may miss some or all of the meeting, and may not be able to fly home until you can produce a negative test.
