  • The Cosyne Registration Desk, located at the entrance of the congress centre, Level 0, will operate during the following hours:

    Thursday, 29-Feb: 8:00 — 20:00
    Friday, 1-Mar: 8:00 — 20h30
    Saturday, 2-Mar: 8:00 — 19:00
    Sunday, 3-Mar: 8:00 — 12h30

    Please check-in upon arrival in order to receive your name badge.

  • YOUR NAME BADGE IS YOUR TICKET TO ENTER THE CONFERENCE AND POSTER SESSIONS AND MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. If you are registered for both the main meeting and the workshops, please take your name badge from the main meeting to Cascais with you. You will be issued ONE name badge for the conference.

  • The COSYNE 2024 meeting program will be accessible using the mobile app Whova.

    Set up is easy:

    1. Download and install the Whova app from the App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android).

    2. If you are a registered attendee, sign up on the app or web portal using the email address you used when you registered for the conference.

    You’re all done!

    If you would like a hard copy of the abstracts, please visit www.cosyne.org to print out the PDF version of the program book, which includes text of the abstracts.

  • All Main Meeting registrants are invited to the welcome reception on Thursday, 29 February from 16:30 to 18:30. Attendees must check in at the COSYNE Registration Desk before being admitted to the reception.

  • Registered attendees receive one drink ticket with their name badge. Tickets can be redeemed at the welcome reception or poster session bar on 29 February only.

  • Safety and health remain a priority at COSYNE 2024. More information on the COVID-19 guidelines at COSYNE 2024 and measures implemented in Portugal, can be found on our dedicated COVID-19 Safety page.

  • A cloakroom is located on Level 0 of the congress centre. Attendees are welcome to check their coats, luggage, posters, and other items here for free during the conference hours ONLY. At the end of each day, all unclaimed items left in the cloakroom will be handed over to the venue's security.

  • All COSYNE 2024 attendees will have free access to WiFi at the Lisboa Congress Centre.

    The SSID and password will be provided onsite and in the conference app.

  • If you were awarded a COSYNE Travel Grant, please visit the Travel Grant counter to pick up your grant. The counter will be open during the following hours:

    Thursday, 29-Feb — Saturday, 2-Mar: 8:00 — 18:00
    Sunday, 3-Mar: 8:00 — 12:00

  • Poster sessions will be held in Pavilion 3 of the Congress Centre, Level 0.

    Hours are:

    Thursday, 29-Feb: 20h30 — 23h30
    Friday, 1-Mar: 12h30 — 14h30
    Saturday, 2-Mar: 12h30 — 14h30

    If you are presenting a poster, please note the set-up and tear down times:

    Thursday, 29 Feb: 18:30 — 10h30 Friday
    Friday, 1-Mar: 12:00 — 10h30 Saturday
    Saturday, 2-Mar: 12:00 — 10h30 Sunday

    If you do not remove your poster by the deadline time, we cannot guarantee the return of your materials.

  • On-site poster printing is not available. If you want to print your poster in Lisbon, the Lisboa Congress Centre recommends Digital Decor. Please contact them directly.

  • Exhibits will be open during conference hours in Foyer D (Level 1).

  • Join us for the following events celebrating the 20th anniversary of COSYNE.

    Thu, 29 Feb - Sun, 3 Mar - COSYNE Retrospective Gallery - Pavillion 3

    Fri, 1 - Mar - Spike-Sorting: the game, and other activities.
    Sat, 2 Mar - Mini Chess Tournament - 13:00 - 14:00 - Foyer C

  • A one-way bus transfer will be provided to those who have registered for the Main Meeting and Workshops. The buses will begin loading at 3 p.m. and will depart when full.

  • Certificates of Attendance will be available to registered attendees after the conference (5 March).

  • Cosyne, Inc. is not responsible for items lost during the conference; however, items found can be turned in to the conference registration desk for the remainder of the day. All items will be turned over to the venue’s security desk at the end of each day. It is the responsibility of the attendee to follow up with security to retrieve lost items.
