Talk Abstract
This talk will review the role of behavior in inducing plasticity in auditory cortical STRFs that reflect task performance and objectives as an animal learns to perform auditory detection and discrimination tasks. We shall also describe the dependence of responses in cortical frontal areas on behavioral task rules and stimulus meanings
