Workshops: 26-27 Feb 07, The Canyons, Park City, Utah
About Cosyne
The annual Cosyne meeting provides an inclusive forum for the exchange of experimental and theoretical approaches to problems in systems neuroscience. It evolved from a series of invitation-only workshops on Neural Information and Coding that have been held since 1996. The first Cosyne meeting, held in 2004 at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, drew over 350 participants. The 2005 and 2006 meetings, held in Salt Lake City, Utah, drew roughly 400 participants.
Cosyne topics include but are not limited to neural coding, natural scene statistics, dendritic computation, neural basis of persistent activity, nonlinear receptive field mapping, representations of time and sequence, reward systems, decision making, synaptic plasticity, map formation, population coding, attention, and computation with spiking networks.
